Inspired by her father who grew up in a single-parent household and worked to finance his own education, Kelly Mae Ross' academic achievements and extracurricular leadership has financed her education with a Johnson Scholarship.
Inspired by her father who grew up in a single-parent household and worked to finance his own education, Kelly Mae Ross' academic achievements and extracurricular leadership has financed her education with a Johnson Scholarship. "I can hardly express the pride I felt when I was able to tell my parents that they would not have to worry about my college expenses any longer." Kelly hopes to study journalism and political science and "besides becoming a member of the swim team, I am also really interested in getting involved with the Mock Convention and the Student Newspaper," she says. Kelly graduated from Maine-Endwell Senior High School in Endicott, New York.
