Kerry Cotter embodies the idea of the student-athlete. She chose W&L because she "received the Johnson scholarship and could play Division III tennis." She also graduated at the top of her high school class from Wren High School in Easley, South Carolina and conducted oncology research at the Greenville Memorial Hospital last summer. Kerry comes from a Chinese/Irish background and hopes to compete for the tennis team and study abroad while studying math and preparing herself for medical school.
