Lizzie wants to stay involved in Hillel but expand her interests by joining the crew team and the Young Democrats. She'll have to juggle her extracurriculars with her demanding academic schedule as she wants to double major in physics-engineering and Spanish.
"My proudest accomplishment thus far was becoming a Bat Mitzvah. At the age of 13, I stood in front of my community and proclaimed myself an adult in my Jewish congregation. I read from the Torah and led the worship service," says Lizzie Engel, from Lexington, Kentucky. Lizzie wants to stay involved in Hillel but expand her interests by joining the crew team and the Young Democrats.
