A Six-Day Getaway

England: The Cotswolds and London

October 26 - November 1, 2010

Your eyes do not deceive you. Response to our recent electronic survey of past travelers and other interested parties indicated that many alumni would appreciate the option of shorter, less expensive travel opportunities. We aim to serve. Working with a vacation package specialist ABC Destinations, we've created two ideal opportunities for busy people looking for high value, short-term holidays.

The W&L Traveller's new Six-Day Getaway tours offer extraordinary value and convenience. Each international adventure includes round-trip airfare from Dulles International in Washington, D.C. (other gateways are available). The hotels are conveniently located and rated four-star, and each package includes guided tours, a welcome reception, two dinners and full breakfast daily, with free time available for independent pursuits. Each program will be led by a W&L host or faculty member, with an excellent manager-guide serving each group throughout the itinerary.

The Istanbul program will feature Romance languages Professor Florinda Ruiz, while art history Professor Pam Simpson will lead the London and the Cotswolds program. Each tour is limited to 35 travelers. The first departure for Istanbul, April 27 - May 3, sold out quickly. If you're interested, don't delay.

We fully expect that London and the Cotswolds will fill also with this announcement--at this price, staying home is more expensive!
