Audio Recording Device Instructions

Ideal for foreign language assignments, journalism or sociology interviews, voiceovers for video, and musicians, the Sony IC handheld recorder is a convenient and easy tool for creating and storing audio files which can be transferred to your computer. Each recorder comes with headphones and a USB connection cable.

To Use Device:
1) Switch off HOLD position-this will turn the device on.
2) Using the DIRECTIONAL PAD on the front, select one of the five folders available on the recorder (each folder is able to hold 99 different recordings!)
3) Once you have a folder selected, press the red RECORD button to start your session. When finished, press the stop button. Your recording is now ready for playback and/or downloading.
4) To download, uncap the end of the recorder to reveal the USB PLUG. You can use the USB CONNECTION CABLE to make plugging it in easier. Once you've done that, you're ready to click on the device, find the folder you saved it in and open up your audio file (.mp3).
