Upcoming on Radio IE...
November will provide several unusual treats for listeners of Radio IE, the Voice of International Education at Washington and Lee, WLUR FM 91.5 in Lexington. On Monday, November 2nd, Remy Demichelis, native assistant for French in the Department of Romance Languages, will host a two-hour music special on the history of French Rock and Roll. The show will air live beginning at 5:00 pm.
On Monday, November 9, Radio IE will again offer a two-hour special, one part dedicated to celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and another section that will preview PERFORMMYTH, the 10th National Symposium of Theater in Academe and First International Theater Festival. The International Festival will meet here in Lexington between November 11-14, and in Cluj, Romania, at the Babes-Bolyai University between June 25-30, 2010. Once again airtime will be at 5:00 pm.
