Jamie Snyder-Fair is in his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Washington and Lee.
Snyder-Fair came to W&L having spent the 2007-08 season as an assistant coach at Vassar College.
While at Vassar, Snyder-Fair helped lead the team to an 18-8 overall record, tying a school record for wins in a season. Snyder-Fair was responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts as well as the implementation of in-season and off-season workouts.
Prior to his time at Vassar, Snyder-Fair spent two seasons as an assistant men's basketball coach at Amherst College.
While at Amherst, he helped to oversee a program that boasted a combined two-year record of 58-6, advanced to two NCAA Division III Final Fours and captured the 2007 National Championship. Snyder-Fair coached a pair of NABC All-Americans, including Andrew Olson, the 2007 National Co-Player of the Year.
A 2005 graduate of Colby College with a degree in psychology, Snyder-Fair was a four-year letterwinner on the men's basketball team.
His duties at W&L include recruiting coordinating, player development and game preparation.
