Rebecca Lowry is in her first year as associate athletic trainer at Washington and Lee.

Lowry came to Washington and Lee following one year as a certified athletic trainer in the University of South Carolina and United States Army Athletic Trainer Forward Program. In this role, she participated in the ground-breaking program designed to place certified athletic trainers in the Army's Basic Combat Training Units.

Lowry is a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. She also received a master of science in athletic training from the University of North Carolina at Greenboro in 2007. Her work experience also includes working with the UNCG volleyball team and the Guilford College men's lacrosse team while working towards her master's degree.

She has also been an athletic trainer for the Columbia Blowfish baseball team, the Columbia Inferno Professional Ice Hockey Club and the Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics Center in Greensboro and was an athletic training intern for A&M consolodated High School in Texas.

Lowry is an NATA-BOC and South Carolina DHEC certified athletic trainer and she is also a certified personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise.
