Indirect Cost Allowance (ICA) |
The current negotiated W&L ICA rate on federal grants is 50% of the salaries and benefits that are part of the award. Foundations and other agencies usually have their own limits, and in most cases do not allow any ICA.
When a grant does have an indirect cost allowance, the distribution is 40% for the Dean, 40% for the department and 20% for VP Finance. |
