The University has two AT&T BlackBerry's that can be signed out when traveling you can email dcamper@wlu.edu to see if one is available.

Before you travel abroad there are a couple details that should be checked in order to make sure your trip is smooth and cost efficient. Most devices come with a domestic plan as a standard and need to be programmed with different features to be able to function overseas. Below you will find all you need to know about traveling internationally with your wireless device.

We recommend that all travelers power their device off and on when they get to their destination. This will allow your device to connect to the local towers in the area and prevent it from searching for the domestic towers they are normally accustomed to.
