Sandy Hausman of WVTF's Charlottesville bureau reports on the special hotline that Washington and Lee students and faculty maintain to provide translation services in Lexington and Rockbridge County. A project of the University's English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program, the hotline benefits local agencies in providing timely translation in 50 different languages.
In her report, Hausman interviewed W&L senior Hansen Babington and Ellen Mayock, professor of romance languages and faculty advisor to ESOL.
