Political humorist and author P.J. O'Rourke presented the opening talk of Washington and Lee University's sixth annual Tom Wolfe Weekend Seminar on Friday, March 27. in Lee Chapel.
O'Rourke, who has established himself as America's premier political satirist, gave a wide-ranging talk that skewered politicians in both parties.
O'Rourke is the H. L. Mencken Research Fellow at the Cato Institute and is a regular correspondent for The Atlantic Monthly, The American Spectator and The Weekly Standard, and frequent panelist on National Public Radio's game show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!
He is the best-selling author of 12 books, including Parliament of Whores, Give War a Chance, Eat the Rich, The CEO of the Sofa and Peace Kills.
