
The Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team is ranked 19th overall in the first weekly edition of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III poll, which was released on Monday.
Salisbury tops the poll with 300 points and all 15 first-place votes. Gettysburg is second with 285 points and is followed by Cortland (263), Middlebury (246), Cabrini (234), Washington College (218), Stevenson (199), Ithaca (198), Roanoke (185) and Endicott (172). Fellow ODAC member Lynchburg appears at No. 11 in this week's poll.
The Generals have opened the season 2-0 with victories over Mary Washington (6-5) and Colorado College (9-7). W&L returns to action on Wednesday as it hosts DeSales University for a 5:00 pm contest.
