Washington and Lee women's swimmer Lindsey Strachan (Midlothian, Va./Governor's School) has been named the ODAC Swimmer of the Week for the week ending Jan. 18.
Strachan won two individual events and was a member of one winning relay team as the W&L women posted their first-ever win over Gettysburg, 135-127, on Saturday.
Strachan won the 200 back in a time of 2:09.53, which broke a 26-year old pool record. She was also victorious in the 100 back with a time of 1:01.53 and led off the winning 200 medley relay team that won in 1:53.78.
Both the men's and women's swim teams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Marymount for a 2:00 pm meet.
