Weight Watchers

W&L currently hosts a Weight Watchers @ Work group with members from all areas of the University. The group meets Tuesdays at 11:30 am in Elrod Commons 214. 

Payroll Deduction & Subsidy Available

Washington and Lee will pay 50% of the cost for employees provided 75% of meetings are attended. The full policy is available here.

Employees must sign up for payroll deduction by using the payroll deduction form. Return form  to Human Resources in campus mail or e-mail (copy the text and paste into email).

Students, spouses/partners and dependents are encouraged to attend the on-campus meetings. Students and dependents are not eligible for the subsidy or payroll deduction. Spouses/partners are eligible for the University subsidy. Payroll deduction can be arranged through the spouse/partner employee.

Flexible Spending Account

The employee portion of the cost of Weight Watchers may be eligible for FSA reimbursement provided weight loss is prescribed by a doctor.
