Abby Pyzik

Abby Pyzik is in her first season as the assistant women's basketball coach at Washington and Lee.

Pyzik joins the W&L women's basketball program following a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Davidson College. While at Davidson, she helped guide the Wildcats to a 59-32 cumulative record, including a school-record 23 wins (23-9) en route to an appearance in the WNIT following the 2006-2007 season.

A 2004 graduate of Lynchburg College with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training, Pyzik was also a member of the Hornets women's basketball team from 2000-2004, earning First Team All-ODAC honors in 2003 and 2004.

Following her time at Lynchburg, Pyzik served as an assistant coach with Oakland City University (Ind.) from 2004-2005, and helped the Mighty Oaks to a 17-12 record and a third-place showing in the National Christian College Athletic Association Tournament.
