Washington and Lee senior Paul Crook (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell) has been named the Men's Division III National Swimmer of the Week by CollegeSwimming.com for the week ending Oct. 19.

The eight-time All-American won the 200 free (1:44.15) and established a new meet record in the 500 free with a time of 4:47.99 as the W&L men's swimming team defeated Mary Washington, 170-92, on Saturday. In addition, Crook had a hand in two relay wins as the 400 free relay won with a time of 3:18.67, while the the 200 medley team recorded a 1:38.53 in victory.

The Generals return to the pool on Fri., Oct. 31, when they travel to Transylvania.
