Washington and Lee University
James is responsible for Outing Club, Fitness Classes, Sports Clubs and Intramurals. He coordinates Appalachian Adventure, trains Outing Club key staff, monitors the equipment available for checkout from the Outing Club house, and orgaizes Friday afternoon activities, as well as a variety of break trips.
James is from New Mexico. He has a Masters in Parks and Recreation from the University of New Mexico. He has worked as an instructor for several colleges, a guide for a small company and has management experience from the outdoor retailer REI. He and his wife Julie live in Lexington with their three girls.
