Lexington, VA -- February 8, 2008 • Mark P. Carey, assistant professor of history at Washington and Lee University, has received the Leopold-Hidy Prize for 2007. The prize is awarded by the Editorial Board of the peer-reviewed Environmental History to the author of the best article published in the journals during that year.
