Lexington, VA -- July 25, 2008 • On Monday, July 14, a truck carrying a shipping container backed up to the loading dock at the Washington and Lee University School of Law. One hour and 30,000 pounds later, the container began a 7 week, 5000 mile journey to Monrovia, Liberia.

Lexington, VA -- July 3, 2008 • Mary Z. Natkin '85, clinical professor of law at the School of Law, has been named assistant dean for clinical education and public service. In this new position, Natkin will oversee one of the chief initiatives of the School's new third-year curriculum: providing each student with a real law-practice experience.
