    The official ACS organization for undergraduate chemical science majors. Members participate in a wide range of programs and activities that enhance their college experience and prepare them for successful careers.

    The Liberty Hall Volunteers participate in Civil War reenactments and living history events for the W&L community, portraying the unit formed of students from Washington College in 1862.
  • Mock Trial

    Mock trials will focus on the American legal system by simulating real life criminal cases and working through them. Students will get the opportunity to be lawyers in a court setting and learn further about the legal system.

    The purpose of One in Four is to prevent sexual misconduct by educating men, and to prepare men to support women who are victims of assault.

    The mission is to form an elite team of Parliamentary Debaters who place on a consistent basis, as well as to provide an exciting forum for students interested in debate, talking, or developing their rhetorical and analytical skills.

    The Peer Counseling program acts as a reference base and provides peer support by training students in listening, problem-solving, and dealing with issues common to the lives of other college students.

    Phi Eta Sigma recognizes academic excellence within the freshman class. We also bring speakers to campus, hold community service events, and have an annual induction ceremony in May.

    The mission of Students Against Rockbridge Area Hunger is to provide an entertaining fundraiser which not only serves to bring the campus together but also to allow W&L students to give back to the community in which we live. All proceeds donated to combat Rockbridge area hunger.

    The purpose of SPEAK is to decrease and prevent sexual misconduct and assault on campus through awareness and education. The mission is to raise awareness about sexual assault and to educate women about how to assist themselves or others who have been victims of sexual assault.
