How to Request a Student Organization Web site
About W&L Student Organization Web sites:
All student organizations at W&L will be provided with a free blog from WordPress. WordPress blogs allow organizations the option of customizing their template with the organization’s logo, as well as creating static html pages for information about the organization.
Your organization’s blog will be affiliated with the main Student Activities blog, and the Student Activities staff will have administrator rights to post to or remove content from any organization’s blog as necessary.
Once your blog is set up, a link to it will be established on the main Student Organizations page of the W&L Web site.
NOTE: ONLY WORDPRESS BLOGS THAT ALLOW STUDENT ACTIVITIES PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS WILL BE LINKED FROM THE W&L WEB SITE. This is to ensure that your site can be updated and maintained when your organization’s leadership changes.
Your organization will also be given a custom URL for the blog (i.e. http://go.wlu.edu/gab) and a custom e-mail address, if one does not already exist.
