Washington and Lee Partners With B2 Networks

Live Videocasts of W&L Events to Begin This Fall

LEXINGTON, Va. • September 4, 2008

Washington and Lee University has announced that it has reached a multi-year agreement with B2 Networks to stream live video and audio of athletic contests and various other University events beginning this fall.

Washington and Lee athletics will be available for viewing around the world through the school's website, http://www1.wlu.edu/x11.xml, as well as www.b2tv.com. Fans wanting to watch W&L athletic events via B2 Networks will need a high‑speed internet connection and a current version of Microsoft Windows Media Player.

Games will be sold on an individual basis for $7.00 per game. Season packages are also available and fans wishing to purchase an archived copy of any Washington and Lee broadcast may do so by accessing B2onDemand at http://www.b2tv.com/od.asp. The first live video broadcast begins with Saturday's football game at Franklin & Marshall (1:00 pm), courtesy of F&M, another B2 partner. The first home event scheduled for broadcast is Wednesday's volleyball match (6:30 pm) against Eastern Mennonite.
