Vision:
Rooted in our common stem of faith and the Eucharist, Catholic Campus Ministry strives to grow from strangers into a sincere family that demonstrates the love of God and others. We prepare for a lifetime of learning after college by exploring our faith and expressing it through fellowship and service. We work collaboratively and creatively to share the Gospel and to build the Kingdom of God.

Mission:
We provide educational programs, retreats and prayer services to deepen our faith, social events to celebrate our Christian community and community service projects to serve the needs of others.

Ongoing programs
Rite of Christian Initiation Adults (RCIA) meets in the Parish House Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. Anyone interested in receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion or Confirmation must contact Fr. Joe early in the fall to begin the RCIA process, which will culminate at the Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 23.
VMI Newman Club meets every Monday evening for upperclassmen when classes are in session at 6 PM on the top level of Crozet Hall. Rats meet at 6:30 PM on Fridays on top level of Crozet Hall
Lectio Divina: a traditional Catholic practice of praying and scriptural reading intended to promote unity with God takes place every Tuesday evening in the church at 6:30 PM.
W&L CCM meets every Wednesday evening when classes are in session at 7:30 PM in the Sacred Space in Leyburn Library. It's located on the 2nd level, Room 218, at the far back right of the building if you exit the elevator or stairwell.
Adoration: every First Friday evening of the month at St. Patrick's Church from 8:00-midnight, and every Third Thursday from 7-8 PM, preceded by a simple supper in the Parish Hall at 6:30 PM
Rosary: offered regularly on each campus depending on student interest. Rosaries are available free for the asking through the CCM office.
Twilight Retreats: ongoing opportunities to explore current issues through the eyes of faith. They run from 2-4 PM in the church on various Sundays and allow enough time for prayer and plenty of conversation. There is no charge to attend.
Encounter With Christ Retreats: sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, they begin on Thursday evenings and last until Sunday afternoons, and are offered only twice a year in the second semester. The fee of $125, which covers room and board, will be offset by a $65 grant from CCM. For information, please contact cadets Mike Andriani or Matt Dudek or Elise Parker of W&L.
