Shuttle Service
Due to the lack of public transportation in Lexington, Washington and Lee sponsors a Walmart shuttle service for students. Beginning September 6, 2008, the University will provide a shuttle service every Saturday, 11AM-5PM, except during breaks. The route will begin outside the first year residence halls, stop at Kroger supermarket on its way to Walmart, and return to Kroger on its way back to the first year residence halls. Near Kroger is a Mexican restaurant, a Dollar General, a CVS Pharmacy, a tanning salon, and a pizzeria. Near Walmart there is a Burger King, a Radio Shack, a clothing store, a Chinese restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a Blockbuster Video and another Dollar Store.
