My fellowship with Quadel Consulting also highlighted many of the challenges and barriers that I remember from class. But I'm glad to say the occasional frustration didn't leave me jaded or doubtful. If anything, these challenges strengthened my faith in the tenacity of the human spirit.

John and Mimi Elrod Fellowship

The John and Mimi Elrod Fellowship is a fellowship for recent Washington and Lee undergraduates. This competitive fellowship places high achieving Washington and Lee graduates in paid positions with innovative public service organizations addressing significant social issues such as healthcare, law, education, economic development and housing.

The Elrod Fellowship offers non-profit and government organizations access to a pool of highly qualified and committed candidates while providing Washington and Lee students an opportunity to explore the public sector.

Elrod Fellows are placed in Baltimore, MD, Houston, TX, and Washington D.C
