Pay close attention to our deadlines. This is especially important when applying for the Johnson Scholarship Program and for need-based financial aid. If materials are received after the relevant deadline, it could negatively affect your chances of admission, financial aid, or scholarships.

Johnson Scholarship: December 1

Early Decision Round II: January 1

Regular Decision: January 1

Financial Aid Application Deadlines:

Regular Decision: February 15

Applicants to Washington and Lee University should use the Common Application to apply for admission.  Though we accept paper application materials, we encourage you to apply electronically through the Common Application website.  You will find all the forms needed to complete your W&L application there, including your Johnson Scholarship Application:
