The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its 2007 Division III All-America volleyball teams and Washington and Lee sophomore outside hitter Rachael Phillips (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) earned Honorable Mention accolades.

A 2007 All-South Region pick and a First Team All-ODAC selection, Phillips led the team with 396 kills and was second with a .314 hitting percentage this fall. She also racked up 196 digs along with 48 blocks and three service aces on the season. Additionally, Phillips was named the 2007 ODAC Tournament MVP after her performances at the conference championship.

Phillips' All-America honor marks the fifth year in a row that W&L has had a least one All-American.

In 2007, the Generals completed the season with a 29-6 overall mark, won their seventh-straight ODAC Championship and made their seventh consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
