Come and join the debut concert for Dr. Shane M. Lynch, the new Director of Choral Activities, as he leads the W&L Chamber Singers and University Chorus in their first concert of the new year. Delight in a musical journey ranging from Johann Pachelbel's glorious 18th century double choir motet Nun Danket Alle Gott to Eric Whitacre's sublime 21st century composition A Boy and a Girl, with stops including the music of Mendelssohn, Clausen, Hogan, and traditional music from Korea and Africa.

Lessons and Carols with the Chamber Singers

An annual tradition at Washington and Lee, the Candlelight Service weaves the sacred narration of the Christmas story together through music, prayers, lessons, and hymns. The telling of the Incarnation in this manner binds countries and cultures and dates back hundreds of years. Please join the W&L Chamber Singers for this special, reflective evening.
