The Department of Romance Languages administers and supervises its own programs abroad during the Spring Term, including programs of study in Spain, Costa Rica, and France. In recent years, the Department has also overseen an Internship Program in Mar de Plata, Argentina.

Additionally, Romance Languages strongly encourages its majors to study abroad for the full academic year or, when this is not possible, during fall or winter term. There are a number of programs recommended by W&L for term or academic year study abroad. Feel free to consult with any member of the Romance Languages faculty for more information, as well as with the staff at the Center for International Education. We are all eager to help you find the right program for study abroad.
