Because of the Internet, people separated by oceans can communicate and collaborate at work and through social networks. The Internet has also revolutionized business practices. Video game and movie graphics are increasingly realistic. Children can learn various skills using fun, educational software. CS Students Achieve:
Cross-Country Runners and Computer Science Majors Jack Ivy and Alex Jackson Help Generals to 3rd Place Finish in ODAC
November 1, 2008 Sophomore Computer Science major Jack Ivy and Senior Computer Science major Alex Jackson posted impressive times in the ODAC Championship to help the W&L Generals finish in third place. Jack Ivy earned Second Team All-ODAC accolades after finishing eighth overall (25:54), while co-captain Alex Jackson finished 20th overall with a time of 26:37.
