    DBEDC serves a multicultural inner-city neighborhood of Boston through a summer day camp for local children, services to families, and small business loan development program.     Helena, AR
    The mission of The Family Center, Inc. is to address the issue of domestic violence in the community at large through preventative methods. We provide preventative care, treatment and rehabilitation of persons without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, socio-economic status, marital status, sexual preference, disability or political affiliation and those suffering from the effects of domestic violence. We initiate, direct and participate in educational programs for preventative recognition of and encouragement of treatment of those persons adversely affected by domestic violence. We direct efforts to the overall improvements of the quality of life for those adversely affected by domestic violence. We provide sheltered housing for persons who have been battered, and we recruit and train volunteers to assist in the furtherance of the battered person.
