Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) International Volunteer Projects are designed to promote international cooperation and understanding through workcamps which bring 10-20 volunteers from different countries to work for 2-4 weeks on an archeological, environmental, construction/renovation, forestry/nature conservation or community service projects. Workcamps are located in Algeria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, Japan, Lithuania, Morocco, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, the Ukraine, the US and Wales. English is sufficient for all camps, except those in France and Spain. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, self-motivated, open-minded and flexible. Room and board are provided. nternational Christian Youth Exchange is an international non-governmental organisation which manages long and short-term intercultural exchange programmes in over thirty countries worldwide: every year an average of 600 participants, aged between 17 and 25, live abroad from six to twelve months and cooperate in voluntary social work. Hosting ICYE national organisations coordinate the exchanges by organising orientation sessions,initial language training courses and by providing the necessary counselling and support. Internships International offers non-credit granting internships in an internship designed by you, the intern. Our organization works with contacts at one of our many international sites. Internships last from eight weeks to three months (some interns have extended beyond the three months) and while they are all non-paying, there are often many opportunities to "moonlight" on the side.
