Lexington, Virginia • February 18, 2008Washington and Lee University School of Law Professor Robin Fretwell Wilson discusses whether government courts should ever defer to religious ones in the Feb. 17 edition of The New York Times. Professor Wilson said in the interview that government courts should refuse to enforce any ruling from a religious tribunal that leaves a woman worse off than she would have been in a conventional divorce.
