Amnesty International (AI) is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally recognized human rights. In pursuit of this vision, AI’s mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination, within the context of its work to promote all human rights.

International Relations Association

The International Relations Association (IRA) seeks to increase awareness and understanding of international political issues on campus by organizing debates, forums, speakers and discussions on various topics. Discussions are open to everyone and aim at developing speaking abilities and global awareness in its participants. Model United Nations (MUN) is also run under IRA. In Model U.N., students step into the shoes of ambassadors from U.N. member states to debate current issues on the organization’s vast agenda.
