Several major banks are located within walking distance of the University, including Wachovia and SunTrust Bank. Located within an easy drive to campus are BB&T, Bank of Botetourt, Planters Bank and Trust Company of Virginia, and Shenandoah National Bank.

A SunTrust ATM is located in the John W. Elrod University Commons.

Off campus, the closest ATM to campus (across from the Post Office) is owned by BB&T.  SunTrust and Wachovia also have ATMs located within walking distance of campus.
