Katherine LeMasters

Kate is a junior with a double major in Economics and Global Politics and a minor in Poverty and Human Capability studies. She has been involved with WLSC for one year and is currently working on an ecotourism project in Amazonian Brazil. She is the founder of Local Connections to Global Issues, a member of the General's Development Initiative, and a leadership board member of Planning for a Globalized Tomorrow. This past summer she was an intern and researcher at the West Africa AIDS Foundation in Accra, Ghana and is interested in pursuing Health Economics of Developing Countries.
