Curriculum Vitae

Professor Hale joined the Williams School faculty as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Politics in 2013.  She previously taught at Southeastern Louisiana University and Louisiana State University.  She currently teaches Applied Statistics, Reason and Revelation in the American Founding, and Introduction to Global Politics.  In the past, she has taught classes in political theory and politics and literature.  Professor Hale is the author of the forthcoming book Francis Bacon’s New Atlantis in the Foundation of Modern Political Thought.

As an alumna of Washington and Lee University (Class of ’05), Professor Hale is delighted to be back in Lexington as part of the Washington and Lee community.
