2014-2015

On November 18th, 2014 a Washington and Lee Junior was accused of Vandalism and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. He/she was found guilty of Vandalism by a 9-0 vote. He/she was found not guilty of Conduct Unbecoming by a 2-7 vote. The SJC assessed the following sanctions:

-20 Hours of Community Service to be completed by the end of Winter Term 2015

-Conduct Probation to be completed on November 17th, 2015

-Fine of $741.40



On October 28th, 2014 a Washington and Lee Junior was accused of Drunk In Public and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. He/she was found guilty of Drunk In Public by a 9-0 vote. He/she was found guilty of Conduct Unbecoming by a 7-2 vote. The SJC assessed the following sanctions:

-150 Hours of Community Service to be completed by the end of the 2014-2015 Academic Year

-Conduct Probation to be completed on October 27th, 2015


On October 28th, 2014 a Washington and Lee Junior was accused of Possession Under the Legal Age and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. He/she was found guilty of Possession Under the Legal Age by a 9-0 vote. He/she was found not guilty of Conduct Unbecoming by a 2-7 vote. The SJC assessed the following sanctions:

-55 Hours of Community Service to be completed by the end of Winter Term 2015

-Conduct Probation to be completed on October 27th, 2015


On October 23rd, 2014 a Washington and Lee Sophomore was accused of Use and Possession of a Controlled Substance in a University residence and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. He/she was found not guilty of Use and Possession by a 0-8 vote. He/she was found not guilty of Conduct Unbecoming by a 0-8 vote.


On October 23rd, 2014 a Washington and Lee First Year was accused of Destruction of Property and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student.He/she was found guilty of Destruction of Property by a 9-0 vote. He/she was found not guilty of Conduct Unbecoming by a 1-8 vote. The SJC assessed the following sanctions:

-10 Hours of Community Service to be completed by the end of Fall Term 2014

-Conduct Probation to be completed on October 22nd, 2015

-$20 Fine for damages 


On September 18, 2014 a Washington and Lee Senior was accused of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. He/she was found guilty of Possession of a Controlled Substance by a 9-0 vote. He/she was found not guilty of Conduct Unbecoming by a 3-6 vote. The SJC assessed the following sanctions:

-150 Hours of Community Service to be completed by the end of the Academic Year

-Conduct Probation to be completed at the end of the Academic Year

-Creation and Implementation of a Drug Education and Awareness Program through the Office of Student Affairs
