Arrivals and Orientation

The 5-day Orientation Week introduces the newest members of our community to those Washington and Lee traditions which are central, both functionally and philosophically, to the past, present, and future of the University. The Honor system, undergraduate curriculum, student self-governance, clubs and organizations fair, educational and social events, and meeting fellow classmates are just a few of the many highlights of the Orientation program.

Members of our Student Affairs staff take great pride in working as collaborative partners with our students. Please explore our website and feel free to call (540-458-8405) or e-mail us ( We would enjoy talking with you!
