Distinguished by their engaging programs and youthful passion for great music, the Marinus Ensemble is delighted to return to W&L for this concert. Rising soprano star Sarah Shafer joins the Ensemble with acclaimed pianist Alexander McDonald for a collection of songs by Schubert, Rachmaninoff and Villa-Lobos. Marinus founders Rachel Kuipers Yonan (viola) and Joseph Kuipers (cello) join to perform Brahms' gorgeous Trio in A Minor, Opus 114.
