Health coaches can work with you to help you take your health to the next level whether its diet or exercise tips or simply helping to keep you motivated. Regardless of where you are now in your health habits, there are steps you can take to improve your health and feel better.
Why Use a Coach?
Coaches are great for motivation! They will help you think of ways to overcome any barriers related to your wellness and come up with a plan to tackle those goals. The Wellness Coaching staff is comprised of registered dieticians, exercise physiologists, health educators and registered nurses. The coach will help you understand your health numbers, set personal wellness goals, and take action to improve and preserve your health.
What to Do
- Call 1-866-427-8585 to connect with a coach.
- Sessions last approximately 15 minutes.
- You can call the coach as often as you like.
- Points are only awarded for one call per plan year.
Remember the Rewards
You will earn an additional 50 wellness points for completing your health coaching call by February 1st. After February 1st, the health coaching call will be worth 25 wellness points. The Health Coaching Program is available for individuals who would like to focus on working on a personal wellness goal (worth 125 points). The biometric health screening, health survey, and health coaching results are confidential. Your employer will not have access to your individual answers. If you are unable to participate in the program for medical reasons, an alternative will be provided.
