SUMMARY ANNUAL REPORT FOR
THE EMERITI RETIREE HEALTH PLAN FOR WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY
This is a summary of the annual report of the THE EMERITI RETIREE HEALTH PLAN FOR WASHINGTON AND LEE UNIVERSITY (Employer Identification Number 54-0505977) for the plan year 01/01/2012 through 12/31/2012. The annual report has been filed with the Employee Benefits Security Administration, as required under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).

Basic Financial Statement

During the plan year, the plan had total income of $217,686 including employer contributions of $173,487, employee contributions of $5,954, gains/(losses) of $0 from the sale of assets, and earnings from investments of $38,245. Plan expenses were $81,939. These expenses included $19,493 in administrative expenses, $62,446 in benefits paid to participants and beneficiaries, and $0 in other expenses.
