Professor Rosenberg is a 1968 W&L graduate.  He spent the first part of his career in the finance and real estate industries, and was the president of a large residential and commercial mortgage firm.

After receiving his Ph. D in real estate and finance he became an assistant professor at Florida Atlantic University where he taught courses in real estate and finance. He then moved to the University of North Florida and was the William Sheffield Professor of Real Estate. He was a Fulbright Professor in Latvia in 1994, and has taught numerous seminars in Europe and South America. Professor Rosenberg has won several teaching awards including outstanding finance professor and graduate business faculty member of the year.

His research is focused on real estate finance and investment and agency issues in finance. He has published a number of peer reviewed articles and three books. He was named Associate Professor Emeritus at the University of North Florida.

Professor Rosenberg will teach courses in managerial finance, personal finance, and real estate finance and investment.. He is enthusiastic about the opportunity to teach at his alma mater.

Research

Research topics focus on agency costs in real estate and finance. He has also published articles on housing finance and valuation of real estate interests. He has written books and articles on international real estate finance.
