Interns at Work: Victoria Blackstone '15

Victoria Blackstone is a psychology and Spanish major with a minor in creative writing from St. Paul, Minn. She spent a summer in Lima, Peru, working as an intern at La Fundación Peruana de Cáncer. A member of the Class of 2015, she is editor-in-chief of Pluma literary magazine, president of Catholic Campus Ministry, a resident advisor and a member of Engineers Without Borders and the University-Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra.

My W&L: Darlon Jan '15

Darlon Jan is a biochemistry major from Reno, Nev. A member of the Class of 2015, he is a member of the Beta Beta Beta national biological honor society, and spent a summer at MIT doing research through HHMI's Exceptional Research Opportunities (EXROP) program.

My W&L: Margaret McClintock '15

Margaret McClintock is an English major with a minor in art history from Tunica, Miss. A member of the Class of 2015, she has been president of the Panhellenic Council, and Appalachian Adventure Trip leader, a member of the Contact Committee, the Student Faculty Hearing Board, the Student Affairs Committee and Traveller.

Bayan Misaghi is a biology, economics and business administration major from Charleston, W.V. A member of the Class of 2015, he is director of the Williams Investment Society, finance director of the General Development Initiative and active in the Nabors Service League, the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society and the University-Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra.

Austin Pierce is an philosophy and East Asian languages and literatures major from Yorktown, Va. A member of the Class of 2015, he is general chair of the First Year Orientation Committee, co-founder and president of PLAY, and a baritone in Chamber Singers and General Admission.

My W&L: Sofía Sequeira '15

Sofía Sequeira '15 is a psychology major with a minor in philosophy from Heredia, Costa Rica. A member of the Class of 2015, she is an upperclass resident advisor, a member of the Student Association for International Learning, the Multicultural Student Association, the African Society, Model United Nations and English for Speakers of Other Languages.
