    The W&L Review celebrates its anniversary, and shifts from print to Web
  • W&L’s Hillel Travels to Uruguay on Alternative Break
    Washington and Lee’s Hillel had its first-ever Alternative Break over the Washington Holiday, when 14 students traveled to Uruguay. According to Joan Robins, director of Hillel at W&L, who accompanied the students, the group focused on poverty issues in Montevideo, where they worked with individuals who were severely affected by the 2002 economic crisis in that South American country.
  • Rockbridge County Model United Nations Conference Held at W&L This Weekend :: Washington and Lee University
    The Rockbridge County Model United Nations Conference, which is hosted by Washington and Lee University and staffed completely by W&L students, will be held on Friday, March 5, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the W&L Law School.
  • Women's Basketball: Washington and Lee wins ODAC championship
    The Washington and Lee women's basketball team claimed its first-ever conference title with a 64-56 victory over Virginia Wesleyan in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship game on Sunday afternoon at the Salem Civic Center.
  • W&L's Local Food Usage Grows
    When students at Washington and Lee University eat at the on-campus dining facility, the Marketplace, they are benefiting not only themselves — the food is both delicious and nutritious — but also local food vendors, the local economy and the environment.
