Washington and Lee University
The Shepherd Program in Poverty Studies provides support for collaborative research projects involving local non-profits, community groups, and governments working with university professors and students through Campus-Community Partnerships for Research (CCPR). Community partners identify the research questions important to their work, and W & L professors and students work with those community partners to conduct the research as part of courses, independent studies, thesis projects, or other educational or professional-development activities.
